About Front Porch Pulpit
Thank you for visiting Front Porch Pulpit. It all began on the front porch. Sitting next to my grandfather, we'd discuss a lot of subjects. We always brought it back to God. The front porch is where God began drawing me to Him. The front porch is where I sensed the call to preach the gospel. As you can see, the front porch has had a special place in my life. Years ago, I had a podcast called Front Porch Pulpit where I would share my devotionals with the world. After some time, I moved away from this ministry. Front Porch Pulpit had become a thing of my past.

Until I began praying fervently for revival.
At the beginning of 2025 I prayed that God would bring revival to my community and beyond. During that time God was planting a revival in my heart. It started off with a deep conviction to move from worldly minded to kingdom living. Colossians 3:2 ESV says: "Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth." I found it to be quite a spiritual battle. But as my commitment to know God and live for Him grew, I noticed a change. For a time, I ebbed and flowed like the ocean tide. As time passed my heart was yearning to be closer to God, to choose things according to His will and less of mine. It would take an arduous surrender. However, the more I surrendered, the more joy I felt, the more trusting I became, and suddenly, I quit making life about my way, but instead, God's way.

Once God led me to this point, I remembered Front Porch Pulpit. The question became: "How do I use Front Porch Pulpit
to glorify God? That's when it hit me!

Imagine 3 homes in your neighborhood. Each one rotating through the Spring and Summer once a month. The host invites neighbors to join them for a cookout and a Testimony.
After everyone has gotten their food, we gather around the front porch to listen. If you sense God is drawing someone, invite them to church, or a small group Bible Study.

That's the vision of Front Porch Pulpit, to be a pathway for building relationships and small group communities with an eternal impact through neighborhood discipleship.
Following the example of Acts 5:42- "And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and preaching that the Christ is Jesus" Acts 5:42(ESV)

The front porch is where my journey began. It provided a pathway for me to have a relationship with Jesus. Wow! Has God ever been present in my life!

My prayer is that God will begin a revival throughout our neighborhoods.
