Revivalist's Prayer

Oh God,

Thank you for your mercy and grace that you gave us freely through the blood of your Son, Jesus the Christ. You made us right with You of which is impossible apart from You.

Precious Lord, I pray that You would bring a lasting revival to our hearts, and spread it out through our communities.

Set ablaze a renewed sense of passion, returning us to You; to live for You.

Break down the walls of hostility and soften hearts to hear the gospel.

“And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”” Romans 10:14-15 ESV

Help us to walk wisely, to witness boldly, to serve faithfully, and give charitably. May our cup of cold water never become lukewarm. May our love for You grow wildly, and become contagious.

Guide us in the smallest details of our lives that nothing of us escapes Your will for us.

Blessed Lord, Who allows us to come “boldly to the throne of grace”, speak to our hearts, to our lives, and to our communities. May our flame always be bright!

This I pray in Your Son’s name, Jesus.
